Teams

We welcome team entries on all our one-day rides and cycling holidays, minimum 6 riders, no maximum.

Make a day of it and help raise vital funds for charity, ride through beautiful countryside, get fitter, lose a few pounds and feel a real sense of achievement. Take a team photograph and get some positive press coverage for your company. Many of our events finish in parks, with refreshment tents, live bands and a hospitality marquee at the finish.

During the filming of the wedding for C4’s ‘The Family’ Shay managed to fit in some training for the ride. “I cycle regularly, I’m not a gym person. This was our second year. We had a lovely lunch en route. My favourite part of the day was cycling along the Thames in the sunshine, it’s such a lovely route. We all really enjoyed ourselves and we’ll definitely be doing it again in 2010!”

“For the last eleven years the bike ride has knitted it’s place into the Marshall’s calendar and they are very supportive, contributing to transport logistics & T shirt costs. In 2009, 78 of us raised over £6,000 for Breakthrough.”

“We invited our clients from the Design, Architecture and Construction industries to join us on the ride. We paid their entry fee and provided a big picnic at the Finish. It was great day out and we felt a huge sense of achievement - 60 of us raised over £11,000 for Breakthrough. After the ride we held a prize-giving for the top fundraisers. It was great ‘client entertainment’ and a good way to say thank you to our clients.”

"48 of us cycled for the third year and raised £17,000 for Christies. Our friends at Eddie Stobarts transported our bikes. We hire fork lift trucks nationwide, I’m MD of the company, I’m 18 stone and a non cyclist, so I had to train for the ride! It took me three days to find the saddle after the ride!!!!"
