Route Challenge ratings

Suitable for anyone who enjoys a reasonably active life. The pace is gentle and the terrain flat to undulating. Distances no more than 30 miles (50km).

Suitable for those with slightly more cycling experience. the terrain can be a little hillier than grade 1.5 and distances up to 45 miles (70km).

For the regular and reasonably fit cyclist. The terrain may include some challenging hills and distances up to 75 miles (110km).

These routes require a good level of fitness and stamina and feature challenging inclines and/or a longer time in the saddle. Distances can be up to 100 miles (160km).

Come and enjoy the spring sunshine on the first ride of the 2015 season!

Starting and finishing on the outskirts of Cambridge, the ride takes you north through Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and towards the Norfolk coast on this challenging 100 mile ride. There will be plenty of refreshment stops along the way making this an enjoyable day's cycling to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research.

Please note that at this point the date is provisional and we will be confirming in the next couple of weeks.

The 100 mile route features chip-timing and web results so after the event, you can see your overall time and average speed and compare your time with your friends.

Getting There: CarFrom M11 jc. 14 follow A14 towards Cambridge. All-day parking (and drop-off) is at Milton Park & Ride (free) - exit A14 at jc. 33 following A10 towards Ely. Park and Ride half mile from junction. The route from there to the start will be signed. Beware of height restriction (2.1m) at car park, so remember to takes bike off roof before entering! There will be two marshals to help with taking bikes off roofs before entry, and to look after bikes while you park up! NO parking or drop-off at the College.
Getting There: TrainCambridge station is approx 5 miles from the start - follow our signs. Check National Rail Enquiries 08457 48 49 50 for trains and bike carriage.
Start TimesAnytime between 7am and 8am
Other InfoMINIMUM AGE 14 YRS on 50 mile route and 16 YRS on 100 mile route. All riders under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult over 18yrs.

All riders are required to wear a helmet. A selection of helmets will be available for purchase on the day.
