"My friend from Cycle Southend was going on a 20 mile bike ride and said I could borrow her bike, I found myself saying yes, and on the day i felt sick in my stomach and did not want to do it. Not only did I complete 20 miles, I made new friend, and was now hooked on cycling!! I quickly went and bought my own bike and started to cycle every day, and I absolutely love it!! As for 60 miles, I completed it with my friend... in five and a half hours without stopping and raised £1170 the charity !! If you are not sure if cycling is for you, give it a go, you have nothing to lose and so much to gain, my fitness level is so much better and I am looking a lot leaner. Once you have your bike, its a free hobby." L. W.
