Route Challenge ratings

Suitable for anyone who enjoys a reasonably active life. The pace is gentle and the terrain flat to undulating. Distances no more than 30 miles (50km).

Suitable for those with slightly more cycling experience. the terrain can be a little hillier than grade 1.5 and distances up to 45 miles (70km).

For the regular and reasonably fit cyclist. The terrain may include some challenging hills and distances up to 75 miles (110km).

These routes require a good level of fitness and stamina and feature challenging inclines and/or a longer time in the saddle. Distances can be up to 100 miles (160km).

Starting and finishing in the beautiful City of Norwich, this ride takes you through some perfect cycling country with quiet roads and picturesque villages. And you can test your personal best by choosing a 6, 8 or 10 hour time-band.

Getting There: CarNearest parking available at the following car parks: Biggest one is Chapelfield (Chapel Field Road, NR2 1RU); then The Forum (access via Bethel Street, NR2 1TF); smallest is The Chantry, (access via Theatre Street, NR2 1RG). These are the closest to the start, but not the cheapest car parks. For further parking info try Be aware of height restrictions on all these car parks!
For 'welcoming parties': Please note there is no parking at the Finish itself. Closest car park is near the Adam and Eve pub (NR3 1RZ).
Getting There: TrainNearest station Norwich Central, half a mile from the start. Please check with operator regarding carriage of bikes.

Other InfoMinimum rider age 16 years. Road bike recommended / hybrid or mountain bike suitable with narrow tyres.

All riders are required to wear a helmet. A selection of helmets will be available for purchase on the day.
