Welcome to
Bike Events

Bike Events makes cycling enjoyable for everyone - we've been running rides for over 20 years and are the UK's biggest organiser of fundraising and recreational cycle rides.

Whether you cycle for fun, to get fit or to raise money for a good cause, you'll find a ride here to challenge and reward you; just click a ride on the left to see more and book.

Cycling for Charity

Most of our rides have a single charity sponsor and help to raise much-needed funds for very worthwhile charities, including the British Heart Foundation, NSPCC and CLIC Sargent.
Raising sponsorship is not compulsory but we do encourage all riders to 'do their bit' and a sponsor form for the relevant charity is sent along with each participating rider's registration pack.

Cycling for Sport

There's something for riders of all abilities on Bike Events rides.  While our rides are designed to be achievable by everyone of average fitness, we also offer more challenging route options to appeal to the more dedicated cyclist.
These include our four annual 'Century' (100 mile) rides with timed starts and a finish line clock so riders can test their best time.  But do remember it's not a race.

Cycling for Children

Kids love cycling and several rides are great for younger cyclists - New Forest and Classic Oxford rides have traffic-free woodland sections, London to Windsor and Dorset Coast have a mix off on and off road and the 7 day Kids' Holland is fantastic for families.
Many rides include shorter options for young riders, but there are age restrictions and it's important not to expect youngsters to ride as far or fast as adults.

BIKE EVENTS BROCHURE 2012

The 2012 Bike Events brochure is published in the new year- it lists all our rides and many others.  You will be able to order it in December – click on Brochure Request, above – or here – for a copy.   It’s free – you just pay £1 for postage and you can do this via SagePay.
